Following the event, Lad attended an interaction with media persons at the District Kannada Sahitya Bhavan and was scheduled to participate in other engagements. As the minister and several senior officials needed to travel together to the deputy commissioner’s official residence, Snehal took the wheel herself. After fastening her seat belt, she drove the vehicle, ensuring that everyone could travel in a single car. The scene quickly drew attention, with many onlookers surprised to see Dc Snehal driving the minister’s official car. Far from being a ceremonial gesture, the drive was aimed at facilitating discussions on administrative and developmental issues during the short journey.
