Hubballi : Dr Rashmi Mani, a practising plastic and cosmetic surgeon from Hubballi, has brought laurels to the region by winning the Mrs India Astral 2026 title at a national pageant held in Bengaluru.
Rashmi emerged winner among 27 contestants from different parts of the country at the competition held from Sept 8 to 11 at Vidyaranyapuram, under organiser Pratibha Patil. Speaking to reporters, Rashmi said over 100 contestants participated in the online auditions, following which qualifiers advanced to the Bengaluru finals. Stay updated with the latest Hubballi news.
The international competition will be organised in the Philippines in Dec, and I have been selected for that too,” she said. Rashmi said participating in the pageant was a personal endeavour to redefine beauty as a combination of inner strength, health and willpower rather than merely external appearance. She said the achievement would also complement her professional ambitions. “I am planning to establish comprehensive wellness and aesthetic care services for people in the Hubballi-Dharwad region,” Mani said.
After clearing a multi-stage selection process, she made it to the finals and clinched the crown with her display of confidence, personality and talent. Rashmi holds several medical qualifications, including MBBS, MS, DNB, FMAS, FIAGES and MCh in plastic and reconstructive surgery. “I was the only contestant from the medical field, while professors and CEOs were also competing. She added that her family, friends and well-wishers were delighted with her achievement and had supported her throughout her journey. Download the TOI App.
