Handing over the govt’s official invitation letter to the seer, Tangadagi said that chief minister DK Shivakumar had requested the swami to inaugurate the prestigious Mysuru Dasara festival. Responding to the invitation, the seer said he was happy to accept it. Speaking to reporters, Tangadagi said the swami is a sensitive person and urged people not to spread false information about him. His consent to inaugurate the festival has enhanced the prestige of Mysuru Dasara,” he said.
“The govt will take action against media outlets that air false reports about the swami’s alleged disappointment over the Dasara invitation. The swami has accepted the invitation, and we are delighted by his decision.
