Raichur : Karnataka Adi Jambava Development Corporation chairperson GS Manjunath on Thursday visited the family of Bhumand Haddinal in Haddinal village of Devadurga taluk and offered condolences.

Speaking during the visit, Manjunath said steps had been initiated to ensure that the victim’s family and dependants received all benefits and assistance available from the government and the corporation. Keeping in view the future of the victim’s three daughters, he said the corporation would facilitate their admission to residential schools and provide completely free education up to the PUC level. A detailed report would be obtained and the house sanctioned at the earliest, he said.

He added that a decision had been taken to provide a house to the family through LIDKAR and discussions had already been held with the organisation’s chairperson. Manjunath assured the family that every effort would be made to secure justice in the case. He also urged them to ensure that the children continued their education and aspired to become senior officers in the future.
