Students securing top ranks in BA, BCom, BCom (CS), BSc, BBA, BCA and BSW programmes during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years received endowment cash awards and certificates.
Prof Khan said students should pursue their goals with dedication, make the best use of opportunities and develop the ability to face challenges confidently. Students should also focus on their mental and physical well-being, he said. Speaking after presenting cash awards and certificates to meritorious students at the Pratibha Puraskar programme organised by the Karnataka College Alumni Association at Farran Hall of Karnataka Arts College, he urged students to cultivate an achievement-oriented mindset. Along with academics, equal importance should be given to extracurricular activities, he added. He advised students to reduce mobile phone usage and develop reading habits, stressing that consistent effort is the key to success. Alumni Association president Shashidhar Narendra presided. Karnataka Arts College principal IC Mulagund, Karnataka Science College principal MS Salunke, faculty members, alumni association office-bearers and students attended the event.
