Koppal: All govt, aided, unaided and private residential schools, colleges, hostels, coaching centres and residential religious educational institutions operating in Koppal district must complete registration by Sept 30, deputy commissioner Suresh B Itnal has said.
The registration drive aims to ensure that children in residential educational institutions and hostels have access to minimum basic facilities while strengthening the implementation of the Child Protection Policy-2016. Stay updated with the latest Hubballi news.
He said an online registration facility has been provided to streamline the exercise and ensure compliance within the stipulated timeframe. It will also help authorities monitor child safety standards and assess facilities provided to students. Govt-run residential educational institutions and hostels functioning under various departments have been directed to submit applications through the respective district-level departmental officers. Private residential schools, colleges, hostels, coaching centres and residential religious educational institutions are also required to register. Download the TOI App.
