Belagavi : The long-pending recruitment process for 174 contractual sanitation workers in the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) gained momentum on Wednesday with the verification of applications and supporting documents.
Meanwhile, the recruitment process for the 37 permanent sanitation worker posts has reached its final stage, with application and document verification already completed. However, no date has yet been announced for the publication of the final merit list for the contractual posts.
Officials said candidates who clear the document verification stage will move to the next phase of the selection process. The BCC health department has constituted a dedicated team to scrutinise the applications, qualifications and supporting records submitted by candidates. Eligible applicants will be shortlisted after verification, following which the final selection list will be published. The final selection is expected to be completed soon.
