MANGALURU: A complaint about a worm allegedly found inside an egg delivered to a consumer has prompted food safety officials to inspect a quick-commerce facility in the city and temporarily seal its storage room. The consumer had approached health minister U T Khader, alleging that some of the eggs purchased through an online delivery platform were damaged and that a worm was found inside one of them. They found packets containing broken eggs at the facility and directed the personnel concerned to remove and dispose of them immediately.
