A 69-year-old woman succumbed to injuries sustained in a fire at a seven-storey residential building in Mira Road. She passed away on Saturday night while receiving treatment at KEM Hospital in Mumbai. The fire incident occurred in July, leading to her hospitalization and subsequent medical care.

The fire broke out in the meter box on the ground floor of Aquarius building on the night of July 11, causing thick smoke to fill the premises and leaving several residents gasping for breath. Fire brigade personnel rescued 104 residents, while 21 people, including seven women, 10 men and four children, were hospitalised.
