The BJP MPs, however, expressed confidence that the guilty will face justice.
Meanwhile, three people allegedly involved in the firing at Shroff were arrested from a train at Rajasthan’s Kota railway station on Monday following a 15-minute operation. The accused, including Ritik alias Roshan from Bihar’s Begusarai and Rehan from Haryana’s Sonipat, were apprehended from the general coach of the Pune-Jaipur Superfast Express when the train halted at Kota at 10.17 am, Kota Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam said.
He wished Shroff a speedy recovery and said those responsible would not be spared. Ravi Kishan, the BJP MP from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, also expressed concern over the incident upon arriving at the airport. He replied, “It is a very disturbing incident. I pray for the speedy recovery of Tiger Shroff, who is a sweet person. The guilty will not be spared. They were suspected to be travelling from Mumbai towards Nepal.
