A megablock will be in effect on Central Railway suburban lines today
On the Main Line of CR, a block will operate between Matunga and Mulund on the fast lines from 11.05am to 3.45pm. Down fast-line services departing CSMT from 10.36am to 3.10pm will be diverted onto the Down slow line at Matunga, halting at all scheduled stations before rejoining the fast line at Mulund. This will lead to delays of around 15 minutes at destinations.
Similarly, Up fast-line trains leaving Thane between 11.03am and 3.38pm will run on the Up slow line from Mulund to Matunga. Additionally, the 1.48pm Khopoli-CSMT local has been rescheduled to depart at 2.06pm. On the Harbour Line, services between Kurla and Vashi will remain suspended in both directions from 11.10am to 4.10pm. Down services to Vashi, Belapur and Panvel leaving CSMT from 10.34am to 3.36pm, and Up services departing Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 10.17am to 3.47pm, will be cancelled.
