He said despite govt claims of spending crores of rupees through the Tribal Development Department, students continue to be deprived of essential facilities. “Students at govt ashram school in Sari revealed that they must fetch drinking water from a hand pump located nearly a kilometer away because the school lacks an in-house potable water facility,” he said, adding that, meanwhile, many residential facilities lack a stable power supply, leaving students to study and live under harsh conditions. During his tour of residential facilities – including govt ashram schools in Sari, Veli, and Mandvi – Dipke inspected the premises and interacted with students and local staff.
