The vehicles were moving at a very slow speed on the road leading to Satara at 11pm, according to the information received from highway police. Kolhapur : Friday night turned out into a nightmare for the commuters traveling on Pune to Satara lane as the Khambatki ghat section got disrupted after a container truck got stuck on one of bend in the ghat section for nearly three hours. Thousands of vehicles got stuck on Pune to Satara lane in the ghat section. The traffic congestion for more than three hours in the ghat section caused great inconvenience to the travellers. Getting stuck in the long queue, some vehicles faced overheating and stopped on the steep climb in the ghat. The highway police and local police are making every effort to remove the stuck truck and restore traffic as soon as possible.
