New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four people, including two women, in connection with the firing on Tiger Shroff . This could be probably the first time that the involvement of women in the Lawrence gang has come to light.
They were caught on Oct 20 as part of an operation to dismantle the alleged weapon supply module linked to the incident. Police said Kunal, who had recently been released from jail on bail, was introduced to Anil Pandit by a friend from Harsana village in Haryana. Subsequently, officials of the Maharashtra Police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID), Mumbai, moved an application seeking permission for custodial interrogation and formal arrest. The court allowed the application, following which the four accused were formally arrested by the Mumbai police team. The court also granted three days’ transit remand to the investigating team. The two allegedly began communicating through an encrypted messaging application.
The four accused were produced before the court by the special cell.
