Launch of ‘Adivasi School Thik Karo’ Campaign Announced
The founder of the CJP has confirmed that the ‘Adivasi School Thik Karo’ campaign will officially launch on September 17 in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. This initiative aims to address educational challenges faced by Adivasi communities in the region.
The tribal rights group Adivasi Adhikar Bachhav Kriti Samiti had earlier this month alleged that the Maharashtra government had handed over the operations of nearly 490 tribal hostels to a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-linked trust. The official had said the MoU was signed with the trust a year ago to facilitate personality development of students. A senior official from the Tribal Development Department had termed the allegations “totally baseless”, saying no such handover of the hostels can take place.
