In Pundlik Nagar, a biryani house with a petty retailer registration had 21 lapses, while a restaurant on Beed Bypass Road in Satara scored 34 lapses. A bakery at Bajaj Nagar showed 28 violations. Karkale added that legal action will be initiated against all four establishments, including filing of offences and permanent cancellation of food licences of any business running operations during suspension. Furthermore, the food authority suspended the licences of seven units across Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, including the city, Gangapur, Shendra, Paithan and Satara areas.
