Bharati Bank is now known as ‘bank for the common people’, says Vishwajeet Kadam
On the occasion, awards and recognition were presented to the best-performing branch, the branch maintaining the best cleanliness standards, outstanding officers, clerical staff and support staff from among the bank’s 23 branches. The bank has maintained its tradition of declaring a 12% dividend for the last two years, and a 12% dividend was declared this year as well. As a result, the bank has earned recognition in society as a ‘bank for the common people’.
From this year, the bank has introduced mobile banking and UPI services for its customers, with the mobile banking service now operating successfully.
Pune: Customer service is the ultimate objective of a bank and Bharati Bank is a financial institution committed to providing credit facilities to the common people, said Dr Vishwajeet Kadam, chairman of Bharati Co-operative Bank. Kadam said that late Dr Patangrao Kadam established Bharati Bank with the objective of providing financial assistance to common people facing difficulties. He was speaking while addressing the 55th Annual General Meeting of Bharati Co-operative Bank. The meeting was held at the auditorium of Medical College at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Dhankawadi Educational Complex, Pune. Vijaymala Kadam, chairperson of Bharati Vidyapeeth School Committee, Dr Shivajirao Kadam, chancellor, and other directors of the bank were present on the occasion. He emphasised that providing customers with modern banking facilities and ensuring their satisfaction should remain a key priority. He also stressed the need to closely monitor developments in the banking sector, undertake regular self-assessment and undergo appropriate training to effectively address emerging challenges. In his address, Kadam reviewed the successful journey of the bank and outlined its future goals and strategies. The bank’s managing director, S Patil, presented the annual report.
