Nagpur: A dispute over parking in front of a house in Mankapur turned violent, leaving a man injured. Police have registered a case against four persons in connection with the assault.
The incident occurred past midnight on Oct 1 near Taj Nagar Gali in Mankapur, according to the complaint filed by the injured man’s wife. The complainant, Preeti Khillare (26), said the accused are from the same locality. Based on the woman’s complaint, Mankapur police filed a complaint against Sheikh Arbaaz (18), Sheikh Arman alias Monu Ayub Sheikh (27), Syed Zafar (34) and Sheikh Shobu (20) for the assault.

Police said the accused allegedly abused the complainant’s husband, following which three others joined the confrontation. One of them allegedly rashly drove a scooter in the area and later parked the two-wheeler in front of her house, the complaint stated. When her husband questioned the accused about rash driving and parking the scooter in front of the house, an argument broke out. They allegedly assaulted him with a baton, and one of them threw a brick at him. The brick struck him, leaving him injured. Download the TOI App.
