NMPML generated Rs 94.60 crore in revenue during FY26 against an expenditure of Rs 175.21 crore
Officials said the board emphasised the need for sustained efforts to strengthen the corporation’s financial position and achieve long-term viability. The officials said the transport undertaking had been steadily inducting electric buses as part of its efforts to modernise public transport and lower operating costs in the long run. Board members said higher ridership and optimal deployment of the e-bus fleet would be crucial to improving the corporation’s financial performance.
The meeting was attended by mayor Himagauri Aher, deputy mayor Vilas Shinde, BJP group leader Shyam Badode, Shiv Sena (UBT) group leader Keshav Porje, senior Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials and NMPML executives.
