Pune: A 38-year-old motorcyclist died after his motorcycle hit a tree along the road at Jadhavwadi in Chikhali. They identified the deceased as Prafulla Chandukar of Rupunagar in Talawade. Chikhali police on Tuesday registered a case of causing death by negligence against the deceased.
Motorcycle Accident Claims Life in Chikhali
A motorcycle accident in Chikhali resulted in the death of a rider. According to an officer from Chikhali police, the incident occurred while the victim was riding home on the service road at Jadhavwadi. The rider lost control of the motorcycle, crashed into the footpath, and subsequently collided with a tree. He suffered severe head injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.

“After the investigation, we registered a case of causing death by negligence against the deceased on Tuesday,” the officer added. The police had initially registered an accidental death case. Download the TOI App.
