Organisers said the celebration is intended to strengthen industry-academia collaboration while creating awareness about sustainable infrastructure and innovation in the construction sector. It will also showcase developments in concrete and construction technologies. Download the TOI App.

Pune: More than 3,000 engineering students, academicians, practising engineers and construction industry professionals are expected to participate in the National Concrete Day and Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026, to be held in Pune on Sept 10-11. The two-day event at Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering & Research (APCOER), Parvati , will focus on innovation, sustainable construction and emerging technologies in concrete and infrastructure development. The event is jointly organised by the Pune RMC Association, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and APCOER. It will bring students, faculty, consultants, government departments, infrastructure agencies and industry representatives on a common platform to promote technical excellence and sustainable practices in construction engineering. The programme will feature technical and research-oriented activities aimed at encouraging young engineering talent and providing students an opportunity to interact with industry professionals and practitioners.
