The two shopkeepers ordered the flavoured tobacco from a firm based in Uttar Pradesh about a month ago, according to Khadak police. An officer from Khadak police said, “To avert the attention of the authorities, the shopkeeper bought the flavoured tobacco in Maharashtra by generating bills of garments instead of flavoured tobacco. Pune: Two shopkeepers based in Ghorpade Peth allegedly ordered flavoured tobacco using the bills of a garment company a month ago. Sale and consumption of flavoured tobacco are banned in Maharashtra.
