Western Railway is set to enhance its infrastructure by adding four new platforms as part of its capacity augmentation initiative. This expansion includes two platforms at Borivli, one at Andheri, and one at Virar. The goal of this project is to alleviate congestion and facilitate increased suburban train services to Virar. The new platforms will be integrated with ongoing expansion efforts at these three stations.
