Yamini, who was preparing to leave for a dance practice ahead of Ganeshotsav celebrations, instead asked him to serve food for himself, leading to a bitter argument between the couple. Mankapur police initially registered an accidental death case. Police then registered a murder case and arrested Krishnakant. Download the TOI App.

Fatal Domestic Incident in Nagpur

A domestic dispute escalated tragically when Krishnakant allegedly assaulted his wife, Yamini, leading to her death. During the argument, he reportedly choked her, struck her multiple times, and threw her onto the bed. After Yamini expressed discomfort, Krishnakant sought medication. However, as her condition deteriorated, he transported her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The couple had relocated from Uttar Pradesh to Nagpur approximately one year ago. Krishnakant is employed at an insurance company, while Yamini was a homemaker.
