Kozhikode : A former special educator who was arrested in the Vadakara MDMA case was stabbed by her partner on Saturday morning in front of the Vanitha cell of Vadakara police station.
Keerthana K C was arrested on June 28 in the MDMA case in which police also arrested her colleague Kavya. Keerthana was stabbed by her partner Jineesh, 38, who is a bus conductor. She was found in possession of 2.108gm of MDMA at the time of her arrest.

Jineesh stabbed her multiple times causing deep wound on her neck. Jineesh stabbed her when she had come to the police station. The duo was living together until she was arrested by the police as part of Operation Toofan. Police had arrested total five persons in the drug trafficking case with the prime accused still on the run. Download the TOI App.
She was later granted bail by the high court in the case with a condition that she should appear before the police every Saturday.
Initially she was taken to the nearby hospital from where Keerthana was shifted to Kozhikode govt medical college.
She was earlier working on contract with block resource centre in Perambra and it later dismissed her following the NDPS case.
