Sudhakaran said censuring Govindan was like hitting him on the head and then asking him to remain seated, adding that the party brass has not recovered from its recent ‘degradation’. Sudhakaran asked whether Govindan alone should answer for the party’s recent election defeats and alleged that some leaders believed criticising him would help them get entry into central committee and politburo.
