Chennai: Port City Colombo (PCC), a services SEZ, is targeting investments from India particularly in the logistics, IT and hospitality sectors.

Harsha Amarasekera PC, chairman of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission, said, “We see opportunities in IT, tourism and logistics. Healthcare is another key area, as India can become a regional player in healthcare by establishing a presence in the port city. Transshipment through Colombo port will continue to evolve, strengthening connectivity and creating a need for Indian companies to set up regional hubs within the port city.
