Madurai gets daily Delhi flight
On the Madurai-Chennai sector, IndiGo has moved from 20 weekly services to a uniform three flights every day, taking weekly frequency to 21. IndiGo’s Madurai-Delhi daily flight gives passengers greater flexibility, particularly for business, official and onward international travel through Delhi without planning journeys around non-operating days.
The previous schedule comprised 16 A321 and four A320 flights every week, while all three daily services will now be operated using A320 aircraft. However, the change comes with lower overall seat capacity as the airline has replaced the larger Airbus A321 aircraft deployed on most services. The change means passengers will have an additional weekly flight and a predictable three-a-day pattern, although fewer seats will be available across the week.
