Kochi : Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial) is entering the global aviation consultancy sector, drawing on more than two-and-a-half decades of experience in airport development and operations. Chief minister V D Satheesan will inaugurate the new initiative, Cial Aviation Consultancy and Expert Services (ACES), on Thursday.
ACES will support clients in engaging with govt agencies, regulatory authorities and other statutory bodies to obtain approvals and clearances required for aviation projects, said Cial officials. Cial managing director S Suhas said the initiative would enable Cial to take its accumulated expertise beyond Kochi and offer it to the wider aviation sector. The initiative will also open up a sustainable new revenue stream for Cial,” he said.
Assistance in regulatory and statutory processes will be a key service component. “Over the past two-and-a-half decades, Cial has built substantial expertise across various domains of airport development and operations. Through Cial ACES, we aim to translate this experience into professional consultancy and expert services for airport and aviation projects in India and abroad.
