Kochi : Traffic along the SN Junction–St Martin’s Church stretch in Palarivattom will be temporarily restricted starting Thursday to facilitate piling work for Metro’s Phase 2 expansion.

Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) officials and the city police assistant commissioner jointly inspected the site before finalising the plan. Vehicles heading toward Kaloor from Edappally will not be able to proceed directly past St Martin’s Church via SN Junction. Instead, commuters must take a detour at SN Junction toward Palarivattom Junction, turn right, and then continue onward to Kaloor. KMRL has urged the public to cooperate with these temporary arrangements to ensure smooth traffic movement and avoid delays during the construction period. Download the TOI App.
