COIMBATORE: The Singanallur police in Coimbatore have registered a case based on a complaint filed by a female rifle shooting coach who alleged that a woman had cheated her of Rs 16 lakh by promising to settle a land dispute using her political influence.

Her mother, Rajeswari, owns 20 cents of land at Kannampalayam village in Sulur taluk, according to the complaint. In 2024, V G Dhanalakshmi , the mother of one of the students at the rifle academy, approached Anu Prabha and promised to resolve the land dispute by using her political influence.
