Addressing participants, Darpan Foundation founder Nandkishore said regular practice could bring meaningful change. “I see myself in each one of you, because each one of you is a spark of divinity,” He discussed topics like managing anger, responding to difficult situations with equanimity and remaining unaffected by what others said or thought. They said participants’ changes and progress would be regularly observed, measured and assessed.

Superintendent of police Vinod Kumar and jailer Sivandandam thanked the foundation for starting the programme and conducting regular sessions. The initiative followed an invitation from Tamil Nadu director general of police (prisons and correctional services) Dr Sandeep Rai Rathore and inspector general of prisons and correctional services (headquarters) R Kanagaraj.
