Agra: A married man and an unmarried woman were found hanging from the same rope inside a house at Rahna Kala village under Etmadpur police station of Agra district early on Monday.

ACP Devesh Singh said, “A detailed investigation is on. After receiving information, police arrived and took the bodies into custody for legal procedures. Family members are being questioned. Download the TOI App.
Pritam Kumar and Indravati, in their early 20s, were in a relationship, said his brother Raju . “Pritam used to work for a ride-hailing service and had got married around one-and-a-half years ago, while Indravati’s family fixed her marriage to another man,” said Raju.
“Recently, there was a dispute between Pritam and his in-laws, following which he left home around 7 pm Sunday and did not return,” Raju added. The bodies were found at Indravati’s house when her parents had gone out to visit their relatives.
