Prayagraj : Hearing in the criminal appeal filed by the convicts in the much-discussed Saurabh Rajput murder case in Meerut, popularly known as the blue drum murder case, will take place before a division bench of the Allahabad high court on Tuesday.

Earlier, the district and sessions court in Meerut sentenced both convicts to death on Oct 14 in the high-profile case. The criminal appeal seeks the quashing of the conviction order dated Sept 30 and the subsequent death sentence awarded to them.
