Rai said govt’s priority should be the safety, relief and justice of citizens rather than birthday celebrations. Rai alleged that govt was celebrating even as flood-hit districts including Gorakhpur, Amroha, Ghazipur, Gonda, Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Rampur and Moradabad were witnessing disruption, with people being forced to move to safer places.
