Lucknow : Cracking down on delays in the disposal of pending revenue cases, the state govt has suspended four tehsildars and one naib tehsildar and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them. The action follows chief minister Yogi Adityanath ’s recent directive to ensure timely disposal of revenue court cases and fix accountability for negligence.

The CM expressed concern over these unresolved matters, emphasizing the need for timely resolutions to support the affected parties.
Board of Revenue, Kanchan Verma, scrutiny revealed that the disposal of pending cases by some officers was unsatisfactory despite repeated directions to expedite hearings and clear the backlog, according to commissioner and secretary.
