Prayagraj : With the number of dengue cases crossing the mark of 100, the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation and the health department authorities have intensified the prevention measures, carrying out fogging and anti-larva spraying in all seven hotspots-Teliyarganj, Allahapur, Dhoomanganj, Mundera, Naini, Jhunsi and Phaphamau.
With the maximum number of cases reported from Govindpur and Salori areas between Sept 1 and Oct 8, the officials have deputed QRTs comprising one malaria inspector, one supervisor and two spray members along with teams of Domestic Breeder Checkers (DBC) for dengue prevention and control. Stay updated with the latest Prayagraj news. Health department teams are interacting with residents and ensuring a check on water stagnation and mosquito breeding. They are also checking indoor breeding sources like refrigerators, tanks, flowerpots, coconut shells and old unused vehicles for the presence of mosquito larvae and eliminating them.
