Food & fun add zing to festivities

Lucknow: Food, crafts and interactive activities shared the spotlight with dance on the second day of the Adani Times Garba Utsav 2026 on Saturday, offering visitors a festive experience beyond the garba arena.

Having different regional options made the experience more interesting,” said Swati Kumari, a homemaker. “We came for garba, but the food and activities kept us occupied throughout the evening,” said Rakul Sharma, a college student. The food zone showcased flavours from across the country. Gujarati dishes dhabeli, chaat, chilla and lassi were served alongside Bengali street food, including puchka, telebhaja, aloo bhaja chaat, aloo kabli and churmur. Makhana and peanuts catered to those observing a fast. “We wanted to explore food stalls as much as the dance floor. Photography and reel-making remained key attractions.
