Varanasi: Indian cricketer Rinku Singh will marry Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj at a ceremony in Lucknow on Dec 4.
The two reportedly began seeing each other in 2025 after being introduced through one of Priya’s friends, who has links with the cricketing fraternity.
He said the date was finalised with the consent of both families. The Saroj family’s residence in Karkhiyaon (Katherwa), Priya’s native village near Varanasi, is being decorated and renovated for the pre-wedding festivities. Priya’s father, Tufani Saroj, a three-time Lok Sabha MP and current MLA from the Kerakat assembly constituency, confirmed the wedding date on Wednesday.
They got engaged in a private ceremony at a hotel in Lucknow in June 2025.
