Kanpur: A 20-year-old youth was found dead with injuries on his neck and face outside a neighbour’s house in Nagla Gadariya village, Etawah, late on Tuesday evening. His family alleged that the youth was murdered and his body was dumped there. The occupants of the house were not at home.
Station in-charge Bhupendra Singh Rathi said that police were examining several angles, including a love affair. Circle officer KP Singh and inspector-in-charge Bhupendra Rathi arrived at the scene along with a police team and started an investigation. A field unit collected evidence from the site. Police were trying to take the body to Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, for a postmortem. The youth lived with his mother and two younger brothers, while his father worked in Delhi. Being the eldest son, he was handling the family’s responsibilities. His father was informed about the incident.
