The two male bison had shared the same enclosure for a long time before the sudden violent clash, according to zoo officials. During the fight, one animal struck the other in the abdomen with its horn, inflicting a deep wound. Senior veterinarian Dr Nasir and his team began treating the injured bison soon after being informed. White foam started coming from its mouth, and it later died. A postmortem conducted by specialist veterinarians found ruptured internal organs and excessive internal bleeding to be the primary cause of death.
