The day began with dark clouds gathering over the city around 7 am, followed by moderate to heavy rain. During this period, the Air Force Station recorded the highest rainfall of 38.4 mm, while Naubasta received 32.9 mm. Other parts of the city recorded between 6.9 mm and 9.1 mm of rain.

Despite the rainfall, the maximum temperature dipped only marginally. He added that intense humidity would persist whenever the sun comes out.
