Yadav Critiques BJP’s Governance Amid Electricity Shortages
In a recent statement to reporters in Etawah, Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of rising to power through deception and dishonesty. He raised concerns about alleged irregularities related to the ‘SIR’ and claimed that votes were deleted through fraudulent methods, asserting that the public would respond at the right moment.
Yadav highlighted a significant discrepancy between the promised electricity supply and the reality faced by consumers. While the BJP had pledged 22 to 24 hours of electricity, many areas are reportedly receiving only about 15 hours. He emphasized that residents are facing escalating bills despite the inadequate supply. Furthermore, he pointed out that the electricity shortage has left canals dry and tube wells non-operational, which complicates irrigation efforts for farmers.
