The association will organise three camps for the under-13 and under-15 age groups to prepare its junior players for UPCA’s 2027-28 trials. The first camp will commence in October, the second in January 2027 and the third camp in April, just before the UPCA trials. The first Rajeev Shukla memorial state-level women’s challenger T20 league will be held in February 2027. As many as 75 women cricketers would be picked from trials and five teams thereafter would be raised to play in the event. Similarly, a championship for under-18 will be organised from March 22, 2027. Kanpur: Kanpur Cricket Association will focus on junior and girls’ cricket in the upcoming season.The association has also decided that players from outside the Kanpur zone will not be allowed to play in its league through clubs.
