Following the incident, District Bar Association president Rajendra Singh, general secretary Manoj Shetty and other office-bearers joined hundreds of lawyers in a sit-in outside the DM’s office. The protest turned tense as lawyers engaged in pushing and shoving, during which the glass panel at the office entrance was smashed. SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi reached the spot with police personnel, while PAC was also deployed to control the situation. The DM later came out and appealed the lawyers to maintain law and order. Subsequently, a delegation of five lawyers, including the Bar Association president, held talks with him. Then issue was resolved. The issue has been sorted out.
