Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 34.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and a minimum of 26 degrees. The city received 1.8 mm of rain between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm. However, before complete withdrawal, the monsoon is expected to cause rains in several parts of UP over the next 3-4 days due to a weather system over the Bay of Bengal.
Senior scientist at Regional Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, Mohammad Danish, said, “The southwest monsoon has started withdrawing from the state. The forecast for Thursday is partly cloudy skies becoming generally cloudy, with a few spells of rain or thundershowers in the afternoon.
