Lucknow: A 40-year-old salon operator was arrested within 10 hours of allegedly attacking a boutique owner with a pair of scissors in Vikas Nagar, police said on Saturday.
Based on a complaint by the victim’s son Vikas Nagar police filed an FIR under Section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the accused on Friday. Police said preliminary investigation revealed that the duo had an argument over an issue a few days ago. “The accused allegedly intercepted a boutique operator at a lane near Kanhae Lal Purwa on Friday evening and struck him on the neck with a pair of scissors before fleeing,” a police officer said. The assault was allegedly carried out following the dispute. Download the TOI App.
A police team used technical surveillance and ground-level information to trace the accused, who was arrested on Saturday.
