Lucknow: A college student staying with relatives in Barabanki has accused a youth of stalking, harassment and death threats after she stopped speaking to him.

In her complaint to police, she said she had earlier been in contact with Aman Gautam but later ended communication. Police said a case has been registered on the basis of her complaint and teams have been formed to trace the accused. CO City Sangam Kumar said the matter is under investigation.
The student, a resident of a village in the Dariyabad area, is currently living with relatives in the city while continuing her studies. The student said that on Friday, while she was on her way to college, Aman allegedly intercepted her on the road and tried to stop her.
