CM Yogi Adityanath performance rituals during Deepotsav celebrations
Lucknow: Wishing people on Diwali and Deepotsav, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the festival of lights in Ayodhya is a grand confluence of extraordinary joy, pride and devotion. “When diyas are lit at Ram Janmabhoomi , people should also light diyas in their homes,” the CM said. The CM said that Deepotsav had given India’s cultural pride a new identity and prestige on the global stage. “The festival is not limited to lighting diyas and setting world records, but it has become a golden chapter in the revival of Treta Yuga grandeur in the city of Prabhu Shri Ram, the renaissance of Sanatan culture, and the restoration of the nation’s pride,” he said. Yogi said that diyas symbolised Antyodaya and self-reliance at the local level. “Over the past 10 years, the cultural identity and pride of Ayodhya had once again been established,” he said. “Let us work towards establishing Ram Rajya where the light of development reaches the lives of those standing at the last rung of society,” he said.
“The culmination of years of anticipation and the faith of crores of Sanatanis is once again set to emerge as the golden radiance of lakhs of diyas, proclaiming the eternal victory of light over darkness and truth and righteousness. The CM welcomed CP Radhakrishnan, Governor Anandiben Patel, ambassadors, high commissioners and diplomats of various countries to Ayodhya for the event. Every particle of Awadhpuri is filled with joy and vibrant with devotion today,” he said.
