Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam and Suresh Rao are in charge of Sector 1, which comprises 10 states. Former Rajya Sabha MP Rajaram and former MLA Atar Singh Rao oversee Sector 2, which includes nine states. Sector 3 consists of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

She said residents in several parts of the country have been facing serious difficulties due to heavy rainfall, storms and strong winds, and demanded that state govts provide full assistance “at every level” in such circumstances. She said that if the situation warrants, BSP national in-charge Ishan Anand could also be deputed to severely affected areas in different states. In a post on X, Mayawati appealed to Centre and state govts to extend immediate help to people hit by natural calamities. Mayawati also drew attention to drought conditions in several parts of Maharashtra and urged the state govt to provide genuine support to affected people, particularly farmers, and to ensure prompt relief. Alongside her appeal to govts, Mayawati issued directions within the party, assigning sector coordinators the responsibility to personally visit states under their supervision and ensure BSP workers help those impacted by natural disasters to the best of their abilities. She, however, cautioned party functionaries against organising any separate fundraising for relief work, saying such drives could be misused for personal gain. BSP has been organised into three sectors as part of efforts to strengthen its organisation and expand its base nationwide.
